Important Product Notes

We take the health and well-being of your pets seriously here. It's the first and foremost concern of ours. Even if it means making a bit less in profit in order to provide wood of the best quality, that is safe for your family furry, that's what we're going to do. Here are a few ways that this effects the products we sell.

Wood: We will not sell wood that we haven't checked out, period. This means we won't sell toy parts made of woods known to be toxic to chins, rabbits, etc. (like maple, cedar or non-white birch, for example). In fact, if there's a serious question about the wood, we won't use it. Further, we ensure that all of our wood has been organically grown, collected, prepared (including being properly boiled and baked). And then, we inspect it on arrival. So, in short, If we won't use it for our own furries, we won't sell them to you for yours.

Dyes: We do not use ethanol (or any kind of alcohol) in our dyes. Yes, this means the color might not be as bright, but it also means your pet won't be chewing on something that can make it sick. Sometimes there is a slight fluctuation in brightness due to the supplier's preferences of liquid or paste for their coloring process, but we make sure that whatever coloring process they use, it is safe. It's the kind of trade-off we all make when we choose water-based paint instead of lead-based paint for our houses. Or our kids' toys, for that matter.

Treats: We use only the best for our treats and supplements. With one exception (IAMS Dog Biscuits), we ensure that all of our treats and supplements are human grade, preferably organic, and also, because we have a kosher oven, kosher.
